Hands down, cardiovascular exercises are super effective at burning fat. This includes jogging, running, aerobics, swimming, and fitness classes. So, in order to truly maximize your weight loss efforts, be sure to add cardio to your workout plan.

Aside from doing cardio work, you should also train with weights. When weight training, try to pick exercises that require you to stand. An example is squats, lunges, bicep curls, and standing shoulder press, just to name a few.

By doing exercises that require you to stand, you'll burn more calories, which results in you burning more body fat.
